Coming out of the bush from being in Anti Poaching units and protecting nature has been really hard, but my family and I have been given an opportunity to a piece of land in Amanzimtoti. A piece of land we cannot farm on but has the potential to create a place for young and old to come and find something to do other than sitting on the couch and watch TV or stare at cell phones all day. An adventure course for kids and adults, paintball and airsoft, horse and mountain bike trails and a bird watchers paradise as well as a place I can teach kids survival techniques and show them about nature.
There is a lot of potential in our forest backyard, but a lot of work to be done as well, so we need to create infrastructure and meet safety requirements.
