ROBERTO VS MND – GOAL R 30 000

So as you know my brother-in-law, Roberto, is living with full blown Motor Neuron Diseases (MND) or ALS as known elsewhere, for the past 24 months and it does not get better.

We live in South Africa and he is now living at an Italian assisted living home in Bedfordview. We as the family care for him financially and emotionally.

So he cannot speak unassisted, eating is tough and he is having a peg installed to the stomach for feeding and walking is almost non-existent.

We raised money to assist and cannot thank you enough and were donated a motorised wheelchair by the most amazing women and have been inundated with love and affection.

The cost of assisted living continues to spiral and we have been approached by many other people who sit in this self-same condition who are also not financially prepared for this onslaught.

All funds raised will be used 100% for the benefit of those suffering from MND and even now we have been able to pass on walking sticks, supports, wheelchairs to those in need and it is liberating to see.

So our goal is to raise funds as long as we can for the MND sufferers community.
