TAKE ME TO GHANA TO ATTEND THE YALE YOUNG AFRICAN SCHOLARS PROGRAM – GOAL R14 000
The Yale Young African Program is a program hosted annually by Yale University in an African country. It is a highly prestigious program wherein thousands of African students apply and only 300 are accepted into it.
My name is Keneilwe Shai, I’m a grade 11 student from Limpopo with a big opportunity in my hands. Please take me to Ghana!
I was one of the students to be chosen in the program, and although I was initially confident that I could be chosen, I was worried about the travel expenses, seeing as the program is only funded upon arrival. The program will be held in Ghana and Rwanda, and I will be attending the session in Ghana. I need R14 000 for my travel expenses which includes return flights(from South Africa), travel insurance, VISA, malaria and yellow fever shots.
This is one of my biggest achievements and I’m the first person in my school and community to be accepted into something like this. It would be a shame to pass up this opportunity due to funding.

Thank you in advance for your contribution to making this trip possible!
