I need money to start my Career and launch my 1st CD. Here is my life. I need the money before end of December 2018.
SO, WHAT IS DIFFERENT ABOUT THIS CD?
Against all odds, Taryn has bravely achieved her dream of recording her own CD which is nothing short of a miracle.
Taryn was born on 6th September 1985. Her struggle started at the mere age of 6 weeks old when she was diagnosed with septicaemia. Doctors weren’t sure if she would pull through, BUT Taryn was an exceptional child and learnt to read and write when she was two years old.
At the age of four she experienced horrific seizures and once again almost died. Sadly, because of prolonged seizures her brain was badly affected, and she had to go through the whole process of having to learn to read and write once again.
She was diagnosed with epilepsy and because of the damage done to her brain, she had to face the reality of not being able to pursue a normal education.
Taryn grew up in a broken home, but despite her many personal struggles she managed to put her best foot forward and made the most of her circumstances. Her passion for singing and performing started to grow and soon this became the dream that she would pursue with every ounce of passion and strength that she had. Her journey has led her to write and compose her own songs which have been recorded on her CD along with some of her favourite cover songs. ‘South Africa Talent Champs’ awarded Taryn with eight medals over a two-year period. She has also done a solo performance at the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront Amphitheatre.
After many years of patience, perseverance and hard work, Taryn is finally embarking on this exciting phase of living her long-awaited dream. I am reminded of the words of the famous golfer, Gary Player when he said, and I quote: “The more I practice and harder I work, the luckier I get”.
