My name is Shaun-Lee Jones. I have a deaf family, my wife and 2 kids. I am struggling to raise funds to buy my children an FM system on their hearing aids. They need the system to help them focus on listening and to develop their vocabulary with their teachers and for speech therapy.
My 2 children, Tammy, who is 7 years old, and Shaun, who is turning 4 years old, uses the FM system at Eduplex school. They tried it on him and it works beautifully. I would love for my kids to have this system, so that they can have the opportunity to start hearing fully, without having to struggle and to be able to listen clearly. Tammy was not accepted at the school because she is behind in her grade and her language. I need to help her to push her efforts further so that she and her brother can go to the same school and carry on developing their language skills.
This FM system is fantastic, it communicates directly to the hearing aid, which helps the brain to receive the information given. Eventually, it will help the brain function to work better, which helps with development.
