James Snell is a Grade 11 pupil and in the Glenwood High school target shooting team. He will be travelling to Cape Town this year in September to compete in the SANSSU and SAARA SA Championships.
James has always had a keen interest in this sport and started off his shooting career in grade 8 with great gusto by being the only grade 8 snottiest to achieve his SANSSU KZN colours. James was chosen for the A teams for both SANSSU and SAARA.
His target shooting accolades include SANSS KZN colours since 2016 and currently he has his SAARA Provincial colours. He has been named top junior & senior shooter, most improved shooter. The SANSSU & SAARA A teams both achieved Gold place in both the 3P and 10 m disciplines.He achieved Silver in the individual 3P and 10m disciplines.
Currently he is the SAARA 10m Sportier men’s champion and prides himself in achieving only the best in his sport.
