We are Marico Ministries, a npo, we are situated in Groot-Marico, North-West. We at Marico Ministries aim to reach out to people in need, as well as spiritual healing. On Monday 9 January, a lady came to us in need of urgent help. She is suffering from long term trauma, depression, parents and family neglecting her. She was also raped at 18, and never received counseling. From all the trauma, depression and failures she turned to drugs, ended up at robots begging for money and selling her body for the next fix.
She is now clean from drugs, but is turning to alcohol as a way of coping. We decided we must get a way to help this lady to get her life back. We phoned around and someone suggested Bread of Life ministries and healing. They are awesome in what they are doing, and although this lady don’t have an income, or medical aid, or family that can help, they took her in.
Now we are praying and trusting our Lord to provide with funds needed to keep her there. The program is a 12 month program, and is R6 800 per month. They admitted her on Wednesday 11 January. The reason I want to help this lady, is that I was in her shoes, and received the chance in life to turn my life around. I want to so this for her as well. I believe in her. So people, if you can find it in your heart, please help us, to help her to make her feel worthy again.
