Enhlanhleni Isibani Sezwe (NPO) was founded in 2005 to help the community of KwaDabeka which is in Durban. Amongst many things, we provide the community with food parcels on a weekly basis as well as clothing items.
We provide support groups weekly to attend to community members’ different needs as they vary. We also assist scholars with their homework when necessary and assist those affected and infected with HIV/AIDS and other chronic diseases with the help of our social worker.
There have been instances whereby some people have come to collect food parcels but unfortunately have left empty handed due to high volumes of people being in need and our organization being able to only attend to a certain portion of people. The working environment for us and all our volunteers is one that needs massive improvement and help as well.
