I run a small business which I started when I got retrenched from work in 2019. Since the Covid-19 lockdown, it has been so stressful to make a basic income, but we are back operating and I run the business from home selling a South African Street style dish Ikota.
Currently I am seeking funds to upgrade equipment to help me take on more volumes so I can produce more. I am looking for investors who can help me raise the capital. The business is now one of PMB’s most popular food places, but I do not have the capital to open a sit-down restaurant.
Having a place to run the business would give me and my daughter a fighting chance at making a decent living. Currently whatever I make covers just enough for rent and some school fees but the business itself has the potential to give us more and even employment of others.
