I am a karateka practitioner for 8 years now. To start off you need a karate suite or “Gi”. For a beginner a thin and cheap material entry level Gi is fine, but as you near black belt you need to invest in a durable long lasting Gi.

Here in South Africa we can buy entry level Gi’s in stores, but they are imported. Durable Gi’s can only be found online and need to be imported.

My aim is to start a Proudly South African Gi brand that will make durable, quality Gi’s that will be affordable to all South Africans and hopefully a cheaper option for foreign buyers.

I would require some donations to be able to start this new brand.
