This is a call for help. The title is, in fact, one of restoration. My mom walked out to visit her GP. In his absence another saw to her. She came home after suffering a stroke brought on by medication prescribed. I’m not here for justice. I’m here to call on help, to restore mom’s hopes and independence as a woman.
Mom is not seating herself in a section of a room daily and I can’t but just wonder what runs through her mind when she sits like that. I would love to gift her the possibility of movement in the form of an automated wheelchair, a bigger television that could make it better for her to see whose doing what on the teli, renovating her bathroom to serve her needs including a walk in shower, a bed that will be comfortable for her to sit upright a little longer as she does get tired. Lifting the gates for her safety and in fact, all of our safety…
My Mom’s situation also effects dietary needs and the ability to go visit her family who lives in the city. This is not begging but admitting that myself as a single mom and guardian came to the realization that I cant do this by myself.
No matter how I push myself it leads to depression. I need to do something for mom. I want to see Mom happy after all the ironwoman skills she rendered during the times she was able to straighten your crown. I don’t want to be left with this void knowingly I did not do everything in my power to try to help her. I have tried every avenue.
Any assistance would be deeply appreciated.
