Sir Pierre van Ryneveld High school, is a school of excellence based in Kempton Park, which was established in 1966. Our school has achieved a lot in regards to cultural participation. The dramatic arts group of our school has partaken in many competitions such as the annual South African championship of performing arts, the National acting competition and the national Eisteddfod academy and many more. We are currently rehearsing for SACOPA (South African Championships of Performing Arts) National round where we’ll be competing with different Provinces in Rustenburg.
We need donations for our school’s arts and culture department. We recently received awards for the Ekhulureni District awards: 2nd Best cultural School in the district, Our drama Coach got the best cultural coach in the district, and one of our male students received the best culturally involved male student of the district.
In addition, you will help a new generation of performers pursue their dreams. Some of our students can’t afford to go and it would be great to have everyone participating in these competitions.
