Well, after a couple years of being completely out of the whole hockey and general sporting scene, I have started playing again.
I have been privileged to be selected this year for the Mpumalanga Highveld Ladies Hockey Team which will be taking part in the 2018 Country Districts Tournament, in Hilton South Africa.
Unfortunately, the costs of the tournament, with travel and accommodation is quite steep. Add to this the cost of a complete new playing kit (I used to play for Natal and now I am playing for Mpumalanga) and we come to the total of R7,000.00.
I am still trying to raise money the old-fashioned way, but after a few requests have set up this GoFundMeSA account.
