Tis the season create hope

The EARTH Centre NPC creates hope through horses in the field of Equine Facilitated Therapies.  Our extensive experience and work with our horses supporting the disabled, the vulnerable and the disadvantaged in our community places us in the position to uplift, empower and educate those most at risk.  We work with passion, dedication and creativity to deliver sustainable change within our network.

All the children we assist have a disability and our unique therapy programmes strengthen and improve their physical, mental and emotional well-being, supporting and empowering them, and improving their confidence and feeling of self-worth. We do it with love, compassion and integrity, respecting their individuality at all times.  We encourage them to learn to interact and communicate in their own unique way, thereby enabling them to integrate more easily into society, despite the challenges they face every day.  Our therapy goes beyond that which can be achieved in a therapy room and is available at no charge to children whose families cannot pay.

In 2017, we introduced our EduRide and Equitherapy programmes and added our Youth Development programme in 2018.  Our Equine Facilitated corporate workshops have been running and growing for 8 years. In addition to this, we also accommodate a number of care centres and other schools in our Outreach Programmes.

This time of the year is especially challenging for us, as the holiday season means we have a herd, property and staff to take care of with no private income generation.

Please open your hearts this holiday season and donate what you can.
