Hi. My name is Pearl Nxumalo, a student currently enrolled at the University of Eswatini (Swaziland), founder of Varsity Impact. I started this initiative to help create a community of students that could provide psychological help to fellow students and provide a platform to discuss social issues. Recently, due to the covid pandemic and political instability in the country, the academic year in our university have been stretched and unstable.
This has resulted in students having to endure long periods without financial assistance/allowances with most government scholarships contracts being terminated. We are hoping to help raise money to assist students both financially and psychologically. We hope to provide students with food parcels, toiletry hampers during the exam period from 5 December 2022 to 6 January 2023.
