My son, Connor Kruger, has been selected for the 2018 USA Sea Cadets Exchange. This is taking place in Newport, Rhode Island, USA. Connor is a very active young man and at the age of 15 he has done two 94.7 cycle challenges, he has swum five Midmar Miles, he is a level 3 EGA swimmer, and Leading Seaman at his cadet base in Springs. This will be a life-changing experience for him.
He has raised some funds but is still short to cover the required amount. Our biggest challenge is our exchange rate, all donations and sponsors he has received has been in rand, and if converted to dollars it does not amount to much. Our aim is to raise R5 000 before his departure date 25/06/2018.
