PLEASE HELP RUMBI HER FAMILY AFTER ROBBERY – GOAL R20 000
My special, amazing domestic worker Rumbi, together with her husband Lovemore, had saved up all their hard earned wages this entire year, and with it, they bought food and necessary household items for their children and extended family in Zimbabwe. This past weekend, they packed everything into a truck, which their uncle drove across the border. They paid R3000 in duty, at the border, as they were carrying oil and sugar, and many food items that would last the year.
Shortly after they passed the border in Zim, the uncle was attacked and shot, and the truck with everything was stolen. Rumbi’s family is totally devastated and very hungry. Rumbi and Lovemore have no other savings with which to restock all that was stolen. They now face the prospect of going home to their hungry family empty-handed. They are both very traumatized and extremely stressed. Please, please help them to replace at least some of their stolen items.
