My name is Melinda. I am from South Africa. I am the head of the house and I am used to be the angel, but 2019 was just not meant to be for me and my family.
My husband and I lost our jobs the same day. We had to keep our house but lost all our things we built up over the years. My son, then 9, had to give up a lot his toys, his TV, everything a child deserves, we just could not give him. In amongst of all this we never gave up and took it day by day.
The angel I am and what God made me to be, we always opened our house. We are jobless and we are now taking care of 7 more people, don’t ask me how because I can’t tell you how.
I am a nail tech now and that’s how we try to survive….. But it’s hard….. So today I am making a choice not to beg but to ask if somehow some were, there is some one that maybe can help no matter how small, every penny will help.
To help us help others and our family to have food and shelter during this Hard times.
