My name is Raiden and I am almost 8 months old. My milestones are very far behind. I cannot roll over, I cannot sit yet to play with my toys, and I cannot stand and bounce on my mommy’s lap or in my jumper. My arms are too weak to hold my bottle or my toys for very long. I cannot feed myself yet and I have to lay on pillows when I eat.
My Doctor says that my arm muscles are weak and my leg muscles are too strong, so I need Occupational and Physio Therapy 2 x a week for 3 months, to help me get stronger and learn how to use my legs. When the three months are over I have to go for an MRI and lots of blood tests.
My Dr says that early intervention is very important because my muscles will then grow normally, but my mommy cannot afford it. I also have a lazy eye that turns out to the side when I am tired or just woke up. This makes it hard for me to see sometimes.
Please help me raise enough money to pay for my therapy and then have the necessary testing done to check if there is something wrong with my brain and eyes?
