Uliqhawe Langomso (which means you are tomorrow’s hero) is a non-profit company that offers mentoring and counselling to boys that have no father figures at home.
We want to offer these young men a chance to have a healthy relationship with a male figure and surround them with other young men in a positive environment. We strive for holistic wellness above everything.
Motivation for the company came from the observation that I made when I was doing practical work at a high school, I noticed that 90% of my clients were boys and the common problem was that they all had no fathers at home, that left them with no man to look up to which made them vulnerable to fall for anything as they are not guided. We do acknowledge that single mothers are doing great work raising their sons but we cannot deny that a man is needed in a child’s life.
As a company we want to help these young men to be better men tomorrow, men who will stand up against gender-based violence which is currently a trend in our country. We want to build men who will better fathers and leaders tomorrow.
