BEDROOM FLOODED AFTER STORM – GOAL R6 000
As we know heavy rainfall effected many homes, many homes flooded, including mine.
It was a Monday afternoon I returned home from a long matric final exam, only to find that my entire room was flooded due to large pools of water in my backyard that had nowhere to go, as a result of blocked drains.
The water somehow came up from underneath the concrete floor and continued to do so for as long as the rain lasted, all my books where destroyed, shoes are ruined, and the base of my bed was soaked. My baby’s diapers were in the package on the floor and that also got destroyed. My wooden dressers and plugs have also suffered damage.
I’m reaching out in hopes for assistance, no one should lose such a large number of valuables and necessities at once. What a natural disaster!
