BURNT SHOP – R150 000
I am asking for help raising funds because I am in a critical position. My shop got burned down nothing was left. All my working equipment got burnt. I am a mother of two kids (including) their brother who is a half-brother from their father. He lost his mother when he was (2) two years old I was taking care of him since then.
Their father was helping me, until he lost his job when the company he was working for got closed. He was helping me with the kids before he loses his job.
I was running my business in a container, I was selling take-away food, I opened my business with the help of my parents while they were still working; now they are pensioners.
Please help me with the donations of any amount you can afford so that I can reopen my business. It can help me to continue taking are of the kids.
The kids were taken care of, my business was doing well enough to pay the bills for the house, pay school fees for the kids, pay for the school transport, buy groceries and so on. Now I cannot afford paying the school fees and transport for the kids. Since I do not have money to re-open the business so that I can continue taking care of the kid’s needs.
If I cannot pay their school fees at the end of the month of (March 2024), they will be out of school, If I receive the money donation I will be able to start over. I will buy another container; it will also help me buy equipment such as:
•    Chip fryer
•    Chip cutter
•    Table and chairs
•    Pots
•    Burner
•    Stove
•    Storage plastic container
•    Food warmers
It will help me to get back to my business. I can continue taking care of the kids, buy them food, pay their school fees and pay for their school transport, continue taking care of the house hold.
It will also help bring back the people I was working with, to come back to work and earn their wages to support their families.
I am pleading for help since my situation has gotten worse. I do not want my children to continue being affected because of this condition.
I will appreciate your generosity for your donations so that I can continue working.
It will also help in our community for the people who come back from work and do not have time to cook for themselves. During lunch time, those who do not have lunch boxes buy food from our shop.
It also helps during load shedding for those who does not have gas stove in their houses. They come and buy food from us.
Those affected everyone in my family since I am the one who was taking care of our needs. My kids are affected already because of what has occurred. It affected us in all angles.
