CCS VET HELP – GOAL R 25 000
Animals and veterinary have always been a passion for me. From 6 years old I knew I wanted to be a vet and I was fortunate to be offered the opportunity to study for my dream career. So many people helped me along the way and I’ve been inspired by people that have given so selflessly to the community.
From 2021, I will be a community service (CCS) Veterinarian in Middelburg, Mpumalanga and so comes my time to give back to the community.
This position gives me a unique opportunity to serve the community and its animals for a full 12 months. CCS presents many challenges and I would love to leave my mark on my clinic and take the best away from this experience.
I am raising funds for medical supplies/ equipment for my clinic. These include:
- Suture material (Nylon, Chromic Cat-gut, Monosyl etc)
- Bandaging material (absolutely anything)
- Bags of ringer’s lactate
- Drip sets
- Intravenous catheters (jelcos)
- Syringes (1ml-20ml)
- Needles (22g, 23g)
- Veterinary scale
- Microhematocrit centrifuge
Every little cent will go a long way in achieving my goal. Rest assured; your contribution will be doing so much for someone who can’t always afford treatment. You may even save a life
