Collection of discarded truck tyres from transport and agricultural industry’s as well as tyre retreading factories in order to shred for use in road building, industrial flooring, building materials, truck and Ldv load mats. These tyres normally would be discarded in a landfill or worse they lay around on farms and in formal settlements, in dams and even in the ocean. The chemical makeup of a tyre is designed to basically last for a very long time, even longer than plastic but unlike plastic tyres contain deadly substances like cyanide which are harmful to humans, animals, ground water and the soil in which it lays. There are currently millions of tyres that get discarded annually and l would like to try and alleviate the negative environmental impact these tyres have and create meaningful jobs at the same time.
