FLOOD TRAGEDY – GOAL R100 000
Hi friends. In the recent floods we have lost everything… I can’t believe I am even typing this… We lost our 10-year-old son Jason when our home collapsed two weeks ago, I am grateful we found him but only 5 days later.
We are broken. We have nothing. If it wasn’t for my daughter and husband, I wouldn’t even bother asking for help as I want to give in. We are trying to get back on our feet.
My son’s funeral is on Saturday, 30th April and it costs R18 000. I don’t have it. We need to get rent and deposit (R8 500 + R8 500). We need an entire household of items and school items for my daughter.
We literally have nothing. We are working, but we aren’t lucky enough to have savings. We need help. I’m pleading from every corner of my soul for financial aid. An educated guess would be around R100 000 to get us off our knees and walking forward.
We lost our baby boy, the rented house, the car (2004 Toyota Yaris). We just want to start moving forward, please please help us. We have no insurances and now I see how stupid I am. So so stupid.
If you are reading this, please friends make sure you have funeral policies and home and car insurance. Otherwise, you will be here like me crying and typing. I am a grieving mother… pleading for help.
