The 3 consecutive tropical cyclones that hit Malawi has left the country shaken. The survivors of the cyclones are barely feeding or drinking safe water in the Nsanje district. Women and children are the notable victims. To make matters worse the country (Malawi) is also experiencing a cholera outbreak. These survivors are at risk of getting cholera, in other locations the cholera has claimed lives of 25 cyclones survivors.
The campaign aims at soliciting funds for a water project (hand pumps) targeting the most vulnerable cyclones survivors.
