POST-GRAD OUTSTANDING FEES – GOAL R 30 000
I am a master’s student at one of the South African Universities. I come from a very poor family. I am raised by a single mother and I have three siblings and we all depend on my mother to survive.
She only earns +- R2500 per month, which is not enough for the five of us. I studied my undergraduate degree using public funds but the funds did not cover one year of my undergraduate studies. I now have outstanding fees that needs to be paid prior registration. Failure to do so will results in me not finishing my degree. I intend to finish the degree within the next two months. Therefore, I need assistance to pay this undergraduate debt.
As for my postgraduate studies, I started my master’s degree in 2018 and was supposed to finish in 2019 Decembers but due to delays that we had on the institution I could not finish that time. The bursary that was funding my studies was only for two years and now I am unfunded for the next two months.
The institution wants me to pay my debt before I register. So now I am stuck because I will never afford to pay such money on my own as I am not employed and still looking for a job.
