Sage Dreams:
Learning is the process through which knowledge is acquired, skills improved, and faculty developed but I, without palpitation, would always say “without arts and creativity, process of Learning becomes icky”.
A genius had always been someone who takes a complex thing and makes it look attractive; therefore, in the senior high school, I felt more alive, more engaged, than I ever had before because learning the complex dynamics in painting and creative arts in an attempt to establish a potential in beauty, awe, and glamour was my biggest dream.
I have many goals and aspirations concerning arts, but in all, the greatest is to hitch my wagons to the stars as a professional Designer as well as a Computer Engineer. Advance Personal Learning is truly my greatest target. Therefore I, like Bran Ferren, have decided to combine studio arts, with designs and beauty to facilitate today's personal learning.
As a young black boy from Ghana, I had passed through series of education, based on African standard, while growing. And I had consummated that pupils are trying all their best to capture everything they study in class and in laboratories. Teachers are pulling all their eager beavers to push students at a higher dimension of life but sometimes things fall far down beyond imaginations in the ends. What is the cause?
How do we solve it? I had always been brooding with these rhetorical questions burning inside of me. I had come to realized that most of the learners needs self-esteem, personal studies, and personal motivations for empowerment.
If one can personalize his or her learning, technological tools and studio arts must be fused. The
engineering part would make it portable while the art and designs makes it more attractive to learners therefore, I come in one accord with Bran Ferren, my artistic mentor, that “let’s Combine Arts and Engineering.”
With the School of Arts Department, I would be groomed to exploit my skills and potentials in digital paintings, photography, 3D video animation and editing, and electronic arts. As a result, I cannot wait to join teams or groups with teachers with high creativity skills.
Generally, I am in love with creativity and skills exploitation and the vision is to enlightening them at every corner where I go. This is why I am hoping for the funds.
