UNISA STUDY FEES CAMPAIGN – GOAL R7 000
Hello Everyone
I could tell you a long sad story about how difficult my life has been and how much I deserve help, but I am not going to because I do not want to focus on where I have come from, but rather where I am heading. Also, there are so many people out there that have had really tough beginnings, including myself so I do not put myself or my needs above anyone else’s.
I refuse to be a product of a tough childhood and I have worked very hard to get to the point I am at now. I started my BCOM in Financial Management two years ago but numbers are not my passion, people are. A couple of changes in my life including a new job and some financial restraints meant that I could not register for any modules last year. If I do not register for any modules this year, Unisa will phase me out of my degree so I swallowed my pride decided I had to do something, failure is not an option.
I started by thinking about what I really wanted to do and applied to Unisa to change my Major. I have a dream to complete my Bcom in Industrial & Organizational Psychology. I want to help people find their passion in the workplace, having ADHD myself and always battling to fit into a workplace environment this is something I am very passionate about. I want to train both companies and individuals to improve problem-solving, productivity as well as the quality of life. We do spend the bulk of our existence at work after all.
I cannot really sum up my passion for people and my entire vision for the future in this post simply because life is ever-changing, this fact is the only real constant. But I will say this, I will make a success of a shaky start and I will strive to impact the lives of those around me by being an example of what good can come out of perseverance.
The immediate goal of this particular campaign is to raise funds to register the first semester because as mentioned if I do not I will be phased out of my degree. I will be trying to add as much as I can to my own study fees account but I am just not in a position to do it all alone so if you feel you would like to be a part of helping me help myself I would greatly appreciate any assistance.
