My name is Marissa Hattingh me and my husband and 8year old daughter live in South Africa. We are newly married but we have been through so much hardships and struggles together. My daughter only got reunited with me not so long ago because of my father and she loves my husband dearly. He has accepted her as his daughter and he is her daddy.
Me and my husband worked for my father and unfortunately he has passed away and his business went to his wife (my stepmother). They had been separated for along time but they had not yet gotten divorced and he had no will. He was healthy but due to covid and than getting pneumonia on top of it he passed within a week.
The result was me and my husband lost our jobs and I could not even fight it. We are currently on a farm working for a farmer but its far from my daughters school and we have no transport to get her to school and financially/ We are just not getting by at all and it’s been a struggle to keep food on the table and in two weeks my daughter must return to school and I have no idea how I am going to get her to school or cover school fees.
We are looking for jobs everywhere I even tried getting online jobs with no success. I need financial help my goal is to buy a small cheap second hand car with the money to be able to transport my daughter to school and cover school fees that is my first and most important goal.
Also having extra funds can help reduce dept I have because of making loans to get by. Having some funds will make it easier for us to concentrate on finding jobs even if we need to relocate the funds can help with rent and deposit for a place as our ideal is to work in town or a town or city closer to a school to make it easier.
Even so having a small vehicle will just be a life changer as currently being remote like this with no neighbors close by to assist. I have no idea how to get my child to school. Please I would appreciate any help you can give. I am really grateful for the opportunity to tell my story and I really hope miracles come true as I am loosing faith.
I know there are so many people struggling and their are so many causes that need help I just really desperately need help and I really would appreciate anything.
