We are a family of 5 that started a dream of giving our 3 children a better future. My husband could get a British passport through his mother that was born in the United Kingdom. it took us years to get the money together. But we did it December 2022.
He got a job offer and started work July 2023, we stayed behind in south Africa with the idea that we could save enough money by December 2023 so we can apply for our visas to go overseas. We now face the fear of being apart longer as we had not saved enough yet and won’t by December. Being apart is taking its toll on the children and on me that is now being a single mom in south Africa.
As we all know our country is not safe anymore and the cost of living has gone up a lot. Me having a very rare headache disorder also can’t get treatment in south Africa as the doctors say they can only give pain medication and not operate. In other countries they have done operations for the same disorder and people are pain free for years i am in constant pain and can’t work. Raising tis amount of money falls on my husband shoulders alone.
That’s why decided to start my own fundraiser to try and lighten the burden on him. We are getting depressed, i am getting depressed, and i need help desperately to try and raise these funds, i am asking anybody to help us reach our goal please.
