My name is Angelica Rosslind , I’m a local surfer from Muizenberg Cape Town. My family (brother and dad) and I are all competing in the South African National Longboard Championships in Jeffery’s Bay from the 21st to the 28th of August 2022. We have just finished surfing the last trail to make the team for SA Champs this past weekend and confirmed that we qualified for the Western Province longboarding surfing team and between the three of us we are competing in 5 different divisions. As the event is a 7-hour drive from where we stay, and we need assistance with transportation and accommodation. We are currently training and preparing to compete in our first national event together as a family. We are trying to raise R17000 to cover our cost and get us to the event, we would greatly appreciate any assistance and resources to make this trip/event possible.
