I should be doing my final year this year at the North West University ( B Social work) but I am really struggling to come up with money for registration. I was previously funded by NSFAS (government bursary) but have reached the maximum number of years it funds a student.
I am unable to apply for a loan since there’s no one working here at home and we depend on my grandmother’s social grant. I am the first person in the family to go to varsity so my family has put their trust and faith in  me with hope of me changing the situation at home. I also want to give back to my community and be able to help once I obtain my degree and show people In my community that anything is possible it doesn’t matter where you come from.
My grandmother is 87years old and her wish is to see me graduate and being able to help her. I also want to achieve my goal of being a social worker and someday be able to open up my own private practice to help those who are need without changing and also to have my own bursary fund that will help kids who grew up like to to achieve their dreams and goals and don’t have to struggle as much as I did.
