My husband Norman has always been a rather big person so he went on a diet to lose weight in order to take back his life. Instead, the detox diet took his life and our family life – he became paralyzed and bedridden in June 2015 due to the fact that he lost all feeling in his bottom half of his body. The detox caused him to have an electrolyte imbalance which affected his nervous system which left him bedridden for more than a year now.
We are suffering as the company that sponsored the diet program does not take any liability at all I am the only one working and we have kids in the house to take care off I cannot afford a nurse to look after him or he cannot get to a government hospital as I cannot get him there, for the past 6 months due to him just laying on the bed, his body has turned diabetic which is R700 a month for his medication which comes from my salary there is never any cash left over to spoil the kids or even just go watch a movie
I would like to get help for him so that he can walk again or just to make his life easier and to make sure he is taken care off during the day he needs ASAP Fisio which I cannot afford.
