We are using an alternative treatment which insurance does not cover; therefore, treatment expenses are straight out of pocket. The first round of cancer brought on a world of pain for my mother.
Radiation and Chemo therapy drew every ounce of strength from her body as it has done to countless others in similar situations. After finding out about the new cancer, she decided to pursue other means of treatment.
My mom has been in contact with many research groups and hospitals to try and find a better alternative to conventional cancer treatment methods, but until recently she had no success.
