My sister’s house located in Delft, Western Cape South Africa has burnt down on the early morning of the 25th May 2020, with her, her daughter and grandson inside. She and the daughter managed to make it out alive with some burnt injuries sadly the grandson (7 years old) could not make it out alive we lost him due to that fire outbreak. The story was cover by the media including the locally new paper called Daily Voice on the 26th May 2020.
The House burnt down to ashes nothing was left furniture, their clothes everything burned. The government donated a few materials to erect a small one room shack. The Daily Voice did try to help with organizing donation however i noticed that the contact number was misprinted hence no donation come through from those means.
As of now the one room shack has been erected however the is no bed, blanket and other essential furniture available yet.
We would gladly appreciate help as it is winter in South Africa at the moment, they need a warmer house, beds, blankets and clothes.
