We are raising funds to get a respected Private Investigator to take on the case of Mawethu Ntsulumbana, who was killed by being hung on a tree on 13th May 2020 in Umtata.
Mawethu is a father to a young girl, a son and a brother, a down to earth being who wouldn’t even lift a finger to harm anyone. He was known to the community as Webster, a young soul whose gifts and talents were soon to be shared with the world. Mawethu had travelled from Cape Town to Ncembu location in EC after his girlfriend had promised to get him involved in community projects as he was laid off at his work due to Covid-19.
A day after his arrival, he sent messages to his elder brothers hinting that he needed help as there were people that were orchestrating a plan to kill him. He also managed to call his friend and told him that even his own girlfriend (which he visited) was part of the plot.
To this far, no arrests have been made. As a family and the community at large, we feel that Mawethu deserves justice and we want to make sure that the guilty parties face the legal consequences for their actions.
