Since the age of 5, my Grandson wanted to become a professional fighter and I promised him to help him with whatever he decided to become in life. His journey started with Karate and has managed to get 3 belts along the way.
He has won medals at every event he took part in, but he then decided that karate is not challenging him enough so by the age of 8 he asked me to sign him up with kickboxing because he saw his uncle doing it.
He has come a long way in the 1 year he has been doing kickboxing, he has won everything and completed every task put in front of him. He had become stronger mentality and emotional and is far beyond an 8-year-old kid.
He has recently been chosen to partake in a kickboxing competition that is being held at 2 different locations for the SA Kickboxing Championships. The 1st location will be in Johannesburg on the 25th of August 2022, and we need to get his passport, visa, flight fair and he needs to get a new kickboxing uniform. The 2nd event will take place in Ireland on March 2023.
Unfortunately, we are unable to acquire the full amount for all he needs on my own. Locally I managed to get funds by asking family members or by having sales such as chicken, boerewors, etc. But the amount required is too huge for me alone and I’m unable to buy things to sell because I’m unemployed.
It would make my grandson’s dream come true to go to Ireland and I need help to make it a reality…
