My name is Stephen Reynolds, and I am from Gauteng, Vereeniging. I am doing a little fundraising project for Oom Solly. He has gone through a very rough time since Covid hit. He and his wife lost their jobs due to covid and has been battling to support his wife and his Son’s two children Justin 8 years, and Jane, 5 years. His Son and Daughter in law passed from covid, and he and his wife has been begging for money at the robots in Vanderbijlpark to support his family. Recently he was hit by a car, and his family is battling as it is now only his wife bringing the little she can. I am trying to raise R35 000.00 to help his family for a few months. I have already raised R15 000.00 between myself and a few sponsors. I am now short for the other R20 000.00 and want to get the rest in. Oom Solly is 59 years old, and his wife is 55. This R35 000 will help him and his family for the next few months till he is back on his feet. I have also received some food vouchers for them where he can pick and pay and spar for food that will help a little. I have also organised some clothes for all of them from another sponsor. Solly is expected to come out of hospital next week, and I want to try to make his healing process a little easier as he won’t be able to use the leg for 3 months. I am just trying to help a man in need. We all know how difficult it is to be in a position like this. Funds will be used for rent and school fees. As well as a few odds and ends.
