My name is Makamole Lelimo. I am studying medicine at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg and I am in my 6th year of study. I intend on completing the degree in 2018. To be able to do this I will need your assistance.
My first priority is tuition so that I am able to register for the 2018 academic year which starts in mid-January. My tuition fees for the current year are R78 549 which will most likely increase next year. I need to raise full tuition by December 2017 so that I apply for a study visa on time. I cannot afford these fees.
My mother, the sole breadwinner, passed away last year and so I have no means of raising this amount by myself. It has been a difficult journey to get to my final year of medicine in these circumstances, but I am determined to be a doctor.
I need every little bit of support I can get. I am determined and eager to finish my degree and to be a medical practitioner. I want to be able to assist my family and build a bright future for myself and my own family. Nothing worth getting is ever easy and I am going to go the distance to obtain this degree.
