My name is Daniell. I am 13 years old. I have been singing since I was 8. I started in Grade 2 in the school choir and soon realised that singing was my passion. I was inspired by Grace VanderWaal on America’s Got Talent a few years ago, saved enough money to buy a Ukelele, then taught myself to play by watching YouTube videos. I began writing my own lyrics and music. I have since taught myself to play other instruments. I dreamed of entering Talent Africa, and it became a reality, and so was shocked/surprised when I won the regional rounds, then went on to the nationals, where I won gold for all my performances and was asked to perform in a showcase, which is the judges top 20 performance choices. In addition to the gold medals, I received 3 special awards. If things couldn’t get any better, I received a letter from the Director, asking me to represent South Africa at Talent America in New York. So I appeal to family and friends to please help make this a reality by contributing to my fund.
