Alienation is a major problem in South Africa, and it is not being recognised by South African Courts or lawmakers. South African children are being deprived of meaningful relationships with both parents on a daily basis, and the alienated parents have no recourse, and the children remain trapped in the grip of the alienating parent. With the current state of the South African economy, alienated parents do not have the funds to litigate in order to see their children, so they have no other option but to give up and write their children off.
We established a non-profit organisation, The Parental Alienation Foundation of South Africa, and have dedicated time, money and effort, to assist mothers and fathers that have been alienated from their children. We are now raising funds to enable us to educate and train Family Advocates, Legal Practitioners, medical experts, Judges and Magistrates, about Parental Alienation. We want to host a training conference for these individuals, where international experts can come and address them on Parental Alienation, how to recognise it, and what the long-term effects are on minor children. These children are trapped, and nobody is fighting for them.
