My name is Christelle Janse van Rensburg. I am currently residing in Nelspruit. I’m a single mom of an 8-year-old boy.
Since I was a young girl, I hated my teeth; I was bullied in school because of my teeth and overbite. My parents could not pay for my dental expenses to fix my teeth and smile. I’m 32 and decided to start the process.
I visited a well-known Orthodontist Dr Stapelberg in Nelspruit, and the facial and oral surgeon Dr Scheepers; per the consultation, it is possible that it can be hereditary, and my son’s chances have the same problem as mine is huge.
They both gave me a quotation, and we discussed the process and all the work that needs to be done to get the perfect smile I’ve been longing for and the term it will take to get it all fixed. All funds raised will go towards the medical expenses.
Quote for the fitting of the braces is R65 150.00 +- 24-28 months
Quote for the jaw operation is R72 629.00
The costs towards my braces and jaw operation are so expensive. I don’t have medical aid and need to pay everything in cash. Unfortunately, I can’t afford the whole amount at this stage and struggle to get it all together.
I will need to take days off from work, and the road ahead will be painfully uncomfortable and long, but I have such a need to do it, that the rest doesn’t bother me at all; I’m just focused on the result at this stage.
I do trust and believe that a miracle will happen and that I will soon have the perfect smile and the confidence to laugh.
