When I was 14 years old I was raped by someone I trusted, again when I was 15 I got raped again . It didn’t end there but when I was 17 I got diagnosed with HIV.
I had to be strong for myself and continue with my life as if nothing happened, but in 2016 I was diagnosed with blocked fallopian tubes filled with Hydrosalpinx. The doctor told me that I will never be able to conceive naturally so my only option is IVF.
I have tried so many things. Medication, western & African with no success. I cannot afford IVF but all I need is a gift of life. Someone to live for, to love whole heartedly and take care of. Having a child of my own would make me a happiest woman alive. I am taking my ARV’s and I’m living a very healthy lifestyle. 15 years later I am still strong.
I have been insulted, called names that I am “inyumba” a woman who is barren. I have been abused, physically and emotionally. Please help me fulfil my dream. I don’t want to be the woman on that picture anymore, I want to be happy and not see myself as a victim of rape and abuse anymore. All I want is to be a mother.
