On Tuesday 15th June 2021 I was involved in an accident on my way to town, while I was driving behind a vehicle, the driver suddenly made a u turn to the right without indicating that he would turn. I applied the brakes of my car, but it was too late to avoid his. His bakkie only had a few scratches while my damages were more serious. I didn’t have any insurance on my vehicle because I cannot afford it.

I am a pensioner who according to SASSA doesn’t qualify for an old age pension.
