Two months ago, I opened a restaurant in aid of 70 homeless people living at the Ark KZN. The goal is to use the restaurant to breach the gap between the homeless and the outside world. Trying to secure donations for them has been top priority.
All the restaurant employees are residents of the Ark. Understandably things are hard for everyone and there is no easy way to ask for help but I know there are enough people out there with good hearts to make a difference.
Given this unique model, it has taken more time and money than I expected. I need funds in order to keep us going and for advertising to speed up the growth rate.
We are doing good when others won’t, please help us carry on.
