The Shell petrol attendants and staff in Villiersdorp is a team that thrive on excellent service with friendliness and eager to help. Villiersdorp was hit with a heavy rainstorm with winds damaging a lot of properties on Sunday 4 September and the bad weather continued through the night into the next morning leaving some residents with damaged property. One such resident had the misfortune of his outer wall completely collapsing and his scared rottweilers got out. Early Monday morning, on his way to work, Vela, a kindhearted dedicated worker, was on his way to work in the main road when he was suddenly attacked by the 2 rottweilers and Vela was bitten in his face. He didn’t notice the dogs until it was too late. He was rushed to hospital and received stitches around his left cheek and over his nose. Vela was finally discharged on Wednesday afternoon, 7 September 2022. He’s quite eager to go back to work as he is the only provider for his wife and daughter, but he needs to recover and rest until he’s fully able to return to work. We, the Shell Villiersdorp family need your help to support Vela in this difficult time while he can’t work to provide for his family.
