Help Hymne Keep Her Music Alive
Hymne Stassen is a remarkable 12-year-old girl with an extraordinary gift for music. Her talent shines through both the violin and the piano, and she is already making waves with her performances. Hymne is a proud member of the Waterkloof High school Youth Orchestra and will be completing her Grade 4 exam in violin and Grade 5 in piano with Royal Schools this year – a huge accomplishment for someone her age!
A generous friend lent Hymne a violin to help her practice, and we have been incredibly grateful for this kindness. However, the time has come for our friend to reclaim their violin, leaving Hymne without the instrument she loves and excels in.
After searching for a violin that would allow her to continue mastering her craft and play advanced pieces, we received a quote from a violin maker: R18,000. This violin would be the perfect match for Hymne’s skill and dedication.
With Christmas just around the corner, we are hoping to give Hymne the gift she truly deserves – a violin that will enable her to continue pursuing her passion. Hymne is not only talented but incredibly hardworking, and we believe she has a bright future ahead of her.
