Marlin Swimming Club (MSC) is a community-based club run on a voluntary basis by parents. The club is based in Athlone where we make use of the Rylands Virgin Active pool. Located in Cape Town, where drownings are an unfortunate reality, MSC regards the empowerment of youth from disadvantaged communities with the life-saving skill of swimming as paramount. Our main objectives: To develop water safe, competent swimmers; To empower youth through the development of swimming skills and instilling good work ethics; to produce swimmers of colour for the SA National team.
